Description:

Used in Western Blotting and visualisation of Protein Bands on Nitrocellulose, PVDF or Acetate membranes.

Reversible staining and removal from proteins, also used in membrane staining and protein detection.

Reversible staining is achieved by washing membranes in 1%  v/v Acetic Acid in DD Water.

Detection limit 1-2 ug. Stable for 12 months at room temperature.

Alternative formulations include:

2% Ponceau S (w/v) in 30% TCA, 30% sulfosalicylic acid water.
