TBS (Tris Buffered Saline) is a buffer used in lab biochemical techniques to maintain the pH within a relatively narrow range.

Typically used in immunology  techniques as a wash buffer.

TBS has many uses because it is isotonic and non-toxic. It can be used to dilute substances.

Store the buffer solution at +4°C. Final (1X) pH 7.4 ±0.2 (25°C), may need slight pH adjustment.
